THE IDEA

Ink Pens is a pixel-art stationery drawer: ballpoints, gels, markers, fountain pens, brush pens, and the occasional quill. Every one is drawn pixel by pixel and dropped on paper, blueprints, blackboards and desks.

Out of 600,000+ possible trait combinations, exactly 3333 pens exist. No two share the same combination. Once they mint out, the metadata gets frozen on-chain. The drawer never changes.

No roadmap theater. Pens are $1.30 each on a brand-new chain, the art is finished and viewable today, and the collection is complete the day it sells out. Grab a pen, sign something.

Ink is Kraken's Ethereum L2: fast, cheap, and young. Ink Pens is the kind of collection young chains are for. Cheap enough that everyone's in, small enough that it matters.

How do I mint?

On OpenSea. Connect any EVM wallet, make sure you're on the Ink network (your wallet will prompt you), and mint up to 5 per wallet at $1.30 per pen. Direct link: opensea.io/collection/inkpens.

What's Ink and how do I get ETH there?

Ink is an Ethereum Layer 2 built by Kraken. Gas is paid in ETH and costs fractions of a cent. Easiest path: withdraw ETH from Kraken directly to Ink, or bridge from Ethereum mainnet.

Is the art really done?

Yes. All 3333 pens are already drawn, and you can see them all over this page. No “art coming soon”.

When do I see which pen I got?

At reveal. OpenSea drops assign pens at random and reveal them when the mint ends: sell-out, or the moment we close it. Until then your pen shows the placeholder. Every one of the 3333 is finished and waiting.

What are the royalties?

5%, set on-chain via ERC-2981.

What do I get besides a pen?

A pen. A really nice pixel pen on a chain called Ink. That's the whole joke, and it only works 3333 times.
